The 17th Ward is hosting the Fireside and would like to invite anyone to join at the Bow Valley Chapel.

There are many challenges facing our youth and children, especially those whose brains work in a different way. We want church to be a safe place for them.

Cindy Law, from Drumheller Alberta, will be joining us to help us learn about loving those with autism, ADHD, and learning differences so that our wards can be a safe place for them.  Cindy has over 20 years of experience working with children whose brains work differently. Cindy’s background includes: BA in Humanities, BA in Psychology, and completion of Post-Baccalaureate coursework in Inclusive Education among other things.

We are so excited to have Cindy Law return to further discuss helping those whose brains work differently.

We will be covering strategies and solutions to help make things easier for those who are neurodiverse, from a personal perspective as well as a caretaker / teacher perspective.
