Stake Conference – Adult Session
Saturday, October 19, 2024 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Theme: “The Doctrine of Covenants & Hope”
Invited: All adult members and friends (age 18+).
Format Change: The Saturday “early” evening session will have a different format. After President Robertson’s opening comments, everyone will have the opportunity to attend two (2) smaller “breakout sessions” for approx. 35 minutes each, back-to-back, on topics of their choosing, spread throughout the building.
To help us plan room sizes and seating, please take this 2-minute survey to “express your interest” (anonymously) for what two (2) of the ten (10) possible breakout session topics you plan to attend during the Saturday session?

Our intention is that this meeting will all be finished by approx. 6:00 PM, allowing everyone time to either gather in the gym for refreshments and mingling or to depart and socialize with each other elsewhere (e.g. go out for dinner, have a date night, or a games night, or an evening at home, etc.).

Regarding the Saturday Session
The format will be similar and “familiar” for the Priesthood Leadership session and the Sunday General session, but different for the Adult Session on Saturday. We have many ‘hopes’ for the conference for you; here are just a few:
- We hope to provide time to meet with many of you without, adding an additional meeting time away from your family.
- We selected a Saturday start time that we hope provides the opportunity to visit together after our meetings have concluded.
- We hope the varied topics seek to address many of the particular trials so many of us face currently in mortality.
- Published topics ahead of time we hope give time to invite our friends and us to prepare to hear the Spirit of the Lord
- We hope the smaller room sizes will allow a more intimate setting that the Lord can touch the hearts of His people.
- Time between sessions we hope enables people to unite with those who may understand our situations and feel hope in God’s covenants.
