JustServe.org is a platform for communication and collaboration. We support charities, non-profits, government, civic and faith organizations by helping them find volunteers and in-kind donations. We also partner with corporations and businesses interested in doing humanitarian service.
We have an international scope with an Advisory Council from well-known organizations but each local area is run by individual volunteers. After launching in San Jose California in 2012 we now help in 12 countries with more being included each year.
Our goal is to encourage volunteerism and support humanitarian service and we don’t discriminate based on race, religion, gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
Projects may not engage volunteers in soliciting or handling money but funds may be donated directly to organizations through our “Volunteer Centres” where they can be grouped by interest, such as “Ukrainian Refugee Support – Calgary.”
JustServe.org is offered as a community service which is paid for by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and it carries no obligations or fees.
Guidelines
The best service opportunities are collaborative, working side by side with others.
Community service opportunities should enhance the quality of life in the area and assist the poor and needy.
JustServe projects should not have a political or other advocacy focus, be for-profit oriented or directly involve volunteers in soliciting or handling money or other prohibited activities (see site).
A free App called “JustServe” complements the website.
