We are excited that the Giving Machines will be at Market Mall this Christmas season from December 10 – 30th. The Giving Machine is an easy way to introduce friends to some of the work that the Church does to help ease the burdens of the heavy laden in various parts of the world including right here in Calgary. The West Stake is responsible for staffing the Giving Machine with volunteers on Fridays from December 12 – 26, inclusive, so we anticipate that about 30 members of the stake will be needed to fulfil our commitment. The West Stake volunteer efforts will be coordinated by Mike and Meredith Lettich.

If you are interested in volunteering, you can sign up at  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0A4EAAAC2EA7FF2-60119149-giving

We encourage volunteers to:

1. Be cheerful and friendly
2. Willingly engage with people to talk about the purpose and impact of the Giving Machine
3. Help people use the machine, when required
4. Have the physical ability to be actively engaged with the public throughout your shift (2 – 3.5 hours)

If you want to volunteer, or just want to find out more about the Giving Machine and the charities that are supported, you are invited to an Information Meeting on Sunday evening, November 23 at 6:30 pm at the Bow Valley Chapel (2526 – 24th Avenue NW), invitation linked here: Giving Machine 2025 Kickoff Event Invitation.
